In November 2009, the oldest butchers shop in East Molesey was transformed.

Formerly known as The Meat Team, the shop underwent an extensive re-design and was re-launched as Bentleys of Surrey drawing influence from it's long history as Molesey's premier family butcher.

A butcher's shop has traded at the same address since the late 1800's when Arthur Jethrow Biggs opened what was to become a long running and hugely successful family butchers.  The shop survived through both World Wars, and was owned by 3 successive generations of Biggs master butchers.  Today, Bentleys of Surrey is proud of it's legacy, and can count the Biggs family as one of its many loyal customers.

The current owner, Gary Bentley, has worked in the meat trade for over 40 years. From a butcher's boy in Fulham, to owning his own meat business, Gary continues to supply some of the finest restaurants in and around London, and has worked with chefs such as Marco Pierre White, Gordon Ramsey and Heston Blumenthal.

Gary has put together an expert team of butchers headed up by Paul Dones.

Paul himself has been in the trade for over 20 years, learning his trade in Smithfield, London's famous meat market, and working in some of the finest and the oldest butchers in Central London
